Sunny Delight

25may2006_035 What to do with a pair of cheap speakers and those extra solar panels you have lying around? Blogger “Radu” got some balsa wood and built a solar-powered boom box. You could do the same: Just attach an MP3 player to the back, let it bake in the sun for a while and rock out to some tinny tunes. Why? Because it’s summer and you can. Very cool indeed. Though Im still working on my very own build your own laser. (Teaching myself electronics is kind of a hassle, but I think in the end it will be worth it expanding my knowledge and power over volts and amps.)

Please, more build it yourself stuff. This is the best part of science hands down.
