Maglev technology should alway progress I think its an amazing piece of human engineering

Most stupid accident ever, and probably easily avoided with some kind of onboard obstacle detection system.

Marc hilton

Extremely strange accident. Why on earth would a train be operating on a track which was being maintained, or vice versa. And in Germany, of all places, a country where caution and corectness is almost as sacred as their National Anthem.

I am looking for an investor in the building of a miniature permanent magnet maglev with electromagnetic linear drive in which I have designed. It will be exhibited in the upcoming engineering week here in Toronto / Canada in 2007 (if completed by that time). The benefits to the investor will be a direct trade off, money for the rights to copy my prototype and the rights to manufacture and market it as their own. My interest in building and exhibiting this prototype is to encourage young students to pick a career in engineering or the sciences. Investors interested, please contact; Mr. Lorrie Matchett ( epowerplus@hotmail.com ) Please insert as the subject title "maglev prototype 2007" prior sending email.

Maglev Trains

The Shanghai maglev is really extreme if you compare it with some examples. The TGV in France goes at 320 km/h, the Bugatti Veyron has a top speed of 407 km/h, the maglev in Shanghai has a top speed of 431 (!!) km/h. I've never been on it, but they say it is very comfy too.

Cheap lots in Costa Rica

Excellent information to many people like that read articles to learn about these issues of great interest.

Where can I find a list of street names in Shanghai, China that can be
