Isn't the software that must be used to activate DVDJon's modification considered third-party software?

adamfedoruk

what about the personal ringtones?

moneycsh934

If you go to http://www.ipodhacks.com/ , the first entry talks about how to rip DVD's and get them on the iPhone. Also, the 5th entry talks about putting custom ringtones on the iPhone through the use of 2 3rd party programs. Obvious hacks.

P.s. The 6th entry is a downloadable game for the iPhone. Another hack.

Engadget is reporting a Hello World app. http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/19/iphone-says-hello-world-here-come-the-3rd-party-apps/
