"Early tables, even in noble houses, were not graced by cloths unless
it were a banquet, but by the 12th century the custom was almost
universal throughout France and Italy. The use of tablecloths spread
quickly from the aristocracy to the merchant classes, and by the
fifteenth century, all but the poorest households would have owned at
least one such cloth."

I think it is of great importance to discussing such issues and make the best of it

I can see it being really useful for people like me who often make lists or notes on paper and then input those notes into a computer. I am not always at a computer, and I write faster than I type, so I usually work things out on paper first. Plus, I often am at client sites where I take notes on paper, and then sit in the hotel room in the evening putting the notes into e-mails, reports, etc. I can see this pen being a real time saver for me.
